• KPNW Radio, Eugene, OR

  Meteorologist 10/20/97-10/31/01 Duties included recorded cut-in weather forecasts throughout the day and one 5-minute live broadcast during the station’s morning program. Worked for them for 4 years with the permission of my full-time employer KVAL-TV.

• KVAL-TV, 4575 Blanton Road, Eugene, OR 97405

  1/22/92-1/9/09 Chief Meteorologist -Duties included preparation of forecasts, creation of weather graphics, and 3-minute on-air weathercasts at 5PM, 6PM, & 11PM on KVAL-TV and 10PM for KLSR-TV (local Fox affiliate). Duties also included being software master of the Weather Central Live-Line 3-D live graphics system and creator of all basic graphics. In addition performed forecast duties for KMGE Radio 4x per day as set up by KVAL-TV.

• WREG-TV, Memphis, TN

  4/90-1/92 Meteorologist- Duties included preparing and airing 4 3-minute weathercasts per week (6PM & 11PM on Saturday & Sunday.) This was a part-time job obtained when previous station WHBQ-TV was sold and let go a majority of their staff.

• WHBQ-TV, Memphis, TN

  2/86-2/90 Meteorologist- Duties included Writing, producing, editing, and solo anchoring AM newscasts (plus weather) 3 days per week and preparing and airing 4 weathercasts per week (6PM & 11PM Saturday and Sunday.).

• WSPA-TV Spartanburg, SC

  8/15/83-7/31/85 Meteorologist- Duties included preparing and airing 6PM & 11PM newscasts Monday through Friday. In charge of 2-man weather department and training others to perform weather duties. Also wrote, produced and edited weather feature stories for the newscast.

• WTVW-TV Evansville, IN

  1/18/81-7/31/83 Weathercaster/Meteorologist- Duties included preparing and airing 6PM & 11PM newscasts Monday through Friday and to write, edit, and produce weather features for the newscasts. *Received Special Service Award from the National Weather Service Office at Evansville, IN, in May 1982 for “Tornado Awareness Week” a five-part series that aired adjacent to weathercasts.

• KREM-AM-FM-TV Spokane, WA

  5/1/79-8/6/81 Weathercaster- Duties included preparing and airing 5:30 PM and 11PM weathercasts Monday thru Friday for television plus weather related features and three weathercasts each Thursday and Friday as travelers forecast for AM radio station.

• KVUE-TV Austin, TX

  3/20/78-4/30/79 Weathercaster/Science Editor- Duties included preparation and airing of 6P and 10PM weathercasts Monday through Friday and writing, editing, and producing science and weather related feature stories.

• WEAU-TV WAXX-AM Eau Claire, WI

  12/10/73-3/31/78 Weathercaster/News Reporter- Duties included preparing and airing 6 PM and 10PM weathercasts Monday thru Friday and 10PM Sunday. Weather only 1976 with addition on Noon show weather. Added Noon and 6PM radio weathercasts 1976. Won Public Service Award from National Weather Service in 1977 for tornado awareness work.

  11PM Weathercaster- Monday-Friday and DJ afternoon Drive–time show.
