Tim Chuey Weather

Look for a mix of clouds and sun for the next few days with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s.  An upper level trough of low pressure will move through on Wednesday bringing mostly cloudy skies. The computer models don’t agree on whether or not there will be any precipitation associated with it so it’s best to be prepared for at least a slight chance of sprinkles Thursday and Friday with some sunshine Friday afternoon.

I’m starting a bit of a contest. Each Monday I will ask a weather question and the first person to answer the question correctly in the comments section of this blog will win one week (7-days) of free personal forecasts tailored to your specific needs. Here’s the question for this week: Since there has been so much discussion about “Global Warming” let’s go in the opposite direction. How much of the Earth was covered by glaciers during the ice ages? Your answer should be in a percentage form. Leave your answer as a comment and the first one to get it right will win. I will, of course, need the winners email address so I can get back to you. Good luck.
