high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) is offshore and moving just a bit closer to the coast. A frontal system is hanging across the Pacific Northwest and will push northward, due to the high pressure, to dry us out today. So far it looks like the front remains stalled over us and so do the clouds. It has to move northward for us to see the sun this afternoon and that has happened, just a little later than I expected. It looks like another frontal system will bring us better chances of rain again by Wednesday.
