Temperatures will reach  the mid 70s in the valleys today and near 80 on Friday. The coast will see some drizzle with high temperatures in the mid 60s.

The valleys will see the 90s return next week for a serious summertime warm-up. That means be prepared to drink more water, use more sunscreen, and take extra care of your outdoor pets.

Don’t forget my new quiz which starts each Monday. How much of the Earth was covered by glaciers during the ice ages? Your answer should be in a percentage form. Leave your answer as a comment and the first one to get it right will win. I will, of course, need the winners email address so I can get back to you. The winner will get one week of personalized forecasts for free. Good luck.
