_______________

An upper level low pressure trough over the Gulf of Alaska has been rotating weak disturbances west to east following the Zonal Flow in the jet stream. A high pressure ridge (“Arch” shape on orange line) takes over Saturday and shreds fronts that try to push our way. A frontal system (position shown is Sunday) will approach the Oregon coast Saturday with  a few more clouds and just the slightest chance of a sprinkle Sunday afternoon and that’s about it. Summer is almost here! It officially begins with the Summer Solstice at 4:09 PM PDT next Wednesday June 20th.
