An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) has taken over keeping the week dry and warmer. We didn’t get quite as warm as I expected Tuesday and today will have the sunshine we’re looking for. A frontal system pushed into Oregon Sunday bringing the chance of showers with it. An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) will take over keeping the week dry and warmer. By Friday this frontal system will be approaching the Pacific Northwest. And, of course, a new frontal system will be located behind that one.

Upper level high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) moved away as low pressure followed close behind. A frontal system pushed into Oregon today bringing the chance of showers with it.
