An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) brings a change to weather more like normal Winter. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system impacting the Pacific Northwest today and Sunday. The graphics for days 3-7  Monday through Friday show that a complex frontal system off the Oregon coast brings more Winter weather.

  • A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR DANGEROUS SNEAKER WAVES IS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR THE CLATSOP COUNTY COAST, THE TILLAMOOK COUNTY COAST, AND THE CENTRAL COAST OF OREGON.
  • A WINTER STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING ABOVE 2,000 FT. FOR EASTERN CURRY COUNTY AND JOSEPHINE COUNTY (8-12 IN. OF SNOW POSSIBLE).
