An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) coming out of the Gulf of Alaska keeps up the onshore airflow and helps to push frontal systems our way. The graphics for days 1-3 show the front moving slowly through Oregon today. The graphics for days 3-7  Sunday through Thursday show frontal activity moving through Oregon between next Wednesday and Thursday.
