An upper level ridge of high pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows)  has taken over returning and now increasing the sunshine and dry weather. Expect temperatures rising from the low 70s to near 80 which puts us 10 degrees or more above normal. The ridge will hold strong knocking an approaching frontal system apart. However, next week a frontal system will approach the coast Tuesday and bring back the chance of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday.
