An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape on the orange line) will slide eastward as high pressure (“Arch” shape on the orange line) switches onshore airflow to offshore Friday allowing high temperatures to increase. A weak frontal system will brush by us Thursday, again with little consequence. Warmer temperatures will be returning for the weekend.
