An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) that took over control of the Pacific Northwest weather bringing lots of sunshine and heat is slowly moving away to be replaced by a trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows).
