Curiosity, NASA’s newest Mars Science Laboratory spacecraft, will be setting down on the surface of Mars at about 10:31 PM PDT today. The event will be streamed live on the web and will be broadcast on NASA TV, although no video of the actual landing is possible you’ll be able to hear descriptions of what is happening.

An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape made of black lines with blue shading) will be bringing us enough marine air to cool our high temperatures down to more comfortable levels.
