Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Mountainado? ”

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) keeps our weather pattern stable with normal temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show a cold front pushing through the Pacific Northwest today and Thursday. The graphics for days 3-7 Saturday through Wednesday show a frontal system well offshore through next Tuesday and approaching the coast next Wednesday. So far the wildfire smoke has been staying in Eastern Lane County, but if the winds shift that might not be the case.
