An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shaped area with blue arrows) is weakening and flattening allowing more clouds and some moisture to move into the Pacific Northwest. Hurricane Oho has moved from the central Pacific Ocean and is downgraded to an extratropical low. It will continue to move to the north parallel to the Oregon coast. Oho’s energy and moisture have merged with  a frontal system bringing the chance of rain back to Oregon. Another frontal system will be moving through the Pacific Northwest Tuesday. Just a reminder, Daylight Saving Time officially ends and Standard Time returns at 2:00 am Sunday November 1st (Or at Bedtime Saturday October 31st, Halloween).
