Now that we have gotten back to more normal temperatures for this time of the year it is time for another parade of frontal systems to bring the winter rain back. Here’s a look at the next storm system that is approaching the Oregon coast. The upper level airflow has returned from the southwest (The Pineapple Express) so that means more rainfall.

A cold front has moved over us from the Northeast. That will cool us down to more normal temperatures. With the passage of this front high pressure will strengthen for a day or so before the next Pacific frontal system moves in.
