Sorry, no winner for my weekly weather question. Here is the question one more time. Why is it dangerous to drive your car on to a flooded street? Here is the answer. There are a couple of reasons. The first one is you don’t know how deep the water is. There could be a large pothole or even a sinkhole under the surface of the water and that could do serious damage to your vehicle and injure you. Secondly it takes only 2 feet of water to float a car or even a large bus. Once your vehicle is floating you will not have control over where it goes and if you are moved to an area of deeper water your car could sink possibly resulting in drowning. I’ll have another weekly weather quiz question for you starting next Monday Please post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized  weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count.
