An upper level high pressure ridge (shaded “Arch”shape) gave us plenty of sun and warm temperatures. That’s gone now and the clouds and showers have returned as a trough of low pressure slides eastward south of us once again and a frontal system will move through Oregon tonight followed by another Saturday. More frontal systems will approach the Pacific Northwest in the middle of next week.

Advisories: A HIGH WIND WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING FOR THE NORTH AND CENTRAL OREGON COAST. A HIGH WIND WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING FOR NORTHERN AND EASTERN KLAMATH COUNTY AND WESTERN, CENTRAL, AND EASTERN LAKE COUNTY.

A frontal system broke apart and slid south of us just like the last one did.
