An upper level trough of low pressure (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) will be replacing the weak high pressure (shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) that brought some clearing. The low brought more clouds and increased chances for rain. A frontal system, warm front in red moved in first and the cold front will follow, enhances the rain chances.
