A frontal system (warm front in red moved in first and the cold front will follow tonight) enhances the rain chances overnight. Upper level high pressure (shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) will be taking over for the weekend returning the sunshine. It won’t last long because the chance of rain returns as early as Sunday evening.
