An upper level high pressure ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape mainly in blue arrows) had been sitting over us keeping storms away. One disturbance fell apart as it came to Oregon. A new frontal system is headed our way and will bring even more wet weather. Skiers note – Hoodoo is still operating Friday through Sunday,  but Willamette Pass (closed – opening again when enough snow falls), and Mt. Ashland (closed– opening again when enough snow falls). Check their websites for conditions and specific schedules.
