The jet stream shows a high pressure ridge (“arch” shape) moving away from us as a low pressure trough (“U” shape) swings along shore and into Oregon. A cold front is pushing through the Pacific Northwest returning the chances for rain and seriously dropping the temperatures. There will be a short break Sunday, but the valley rain and mountain snow will return for next week.
