An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) has moved up to the Pacific Coast. The graphics for days 1-3 show the  surface low and its associated cold front that into California then pushed eastward bringing  some showers to the South Willamette Valley, but the bulk of the rainfall was to our south. The graphics for days 3-7    Wednesday through Sunday show a complex frontal system sliding in Wednesday, then a cold front will be moving through the Pacific Northwest next Friday and Saturday.
