An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape will be moving toward the Pacific coast, but a front will slip by it. The graphics for days 1-3 show the surface low and its associated cold front pushing toward the Willamette Valley, between Monday and Tuesday, but not much rainfall will actually fall in our area. The graphics for days 3-7 Thursday through Monday show cold front that will be pushing through the Pacific Northwest between Friday and Saturday. Then another complex frontal system will be approaching the Pacific Coast next Monday.
