An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) brings even more sunshine and increasingly warmer temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems sliding through the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7 Sunday through Thursday show no frontal systems sliding into the Pacific Northwest due to strong high pressure until a front slowly slides in Monday through Wednesday.
Note: Outdoor Burning Season in Lane County ends today Friday June 6th due to the warmer than normal temperatures and escalating fire danger. The outdoor burning season in Lane county usually closes on June 15th.
