An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) brings even more sunshine and increasingly warmer temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak frontal system sliding through the Pacific Northwest late today and overnight bringing cooling. The graphics for days 3-7 Thursday through Monday show increasing frontal systems pushing into the Pacific Northwest Thursday through Saturday.
Note: Outdoor Burning Season in Lane County ended last Friday June 6th due to the warmer than normal temperatures and escalating fire danger. The outdoor burning season in Lane county usually closes on June 15th.
