An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge  (“Arch” shape) brings still plenty of sunshine but cooler temperatures.  The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak frontal system sliding through the Pacific Northwest bringing cooling. The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show increasing frontal systems pushing into the Pacific Northwest Thursday through Saturday.

Note: Outdoor Burning Season in Lane County ended last Friday June 6th due to the warmer than normal temperatures and escalating fire danger. The outdoor burning season in Lane county usually closes on June 15th.
