An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) brings still plenty of sunshine but northerly airflow brings cooler temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak frontal system sliding through the Pacific Northwest between Thursday and Friday. The graphics for days 3-7 Saturday through Wednesday show increasing a frontal system pushing into the Pacific Northwest Wednesday.
Note: Outdoor Burning Season in Lane County ended last Friday June 6th due to the warmer than normal temperatures and escalating fire danger. The outdoor burning season in Lane county usually closes on June 15th.
