An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch”shape) weakens a bit increasing onshore airflow allowing cooling.  The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak cold frontal system that moved through the Pacific Northwest today to start dropping temperatures to more normal levels. The graphics for days 3-7  Monday through Friday show the cold frontal system pushing past the Pacific Northwest to the east of us Tuesday and next Wednesday.
