A slow moving Upper Level Low Pressure Trough  (“U” shape) starts a slow cooling trend. The graphics for days 1-3 show a weak cold front that slid through the Pacific Northwest today for cooling. The graphics for days 3-7  Monday through Friday show a frontal system offshore Thursday then moving in next Friday.
