Here is my weather quiz question for this week. In the Willamette Valley what does it mean when you see large numbers of sea gulls gathering at school and supermarket parking lots? Please post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized  weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.

_______________

High pressure is moving away from us as an upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape) moves across Oregon. A cold front pushed its way into the Pacific Northwest producing showers, possible thunderstorms, and some sleet and small hail. Another frontal system will follow late into the week into the weekend.
