It’s “Earth Day” and “Good Friday”. We should celebrate our planet Earth and Christians rejoice in being saved by the ultimate sacrifice.

Here is my weather quiz question for this week. Today is your last chance this week to win. Who created the “F” scale to determine the strength of tornadoes? Please post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments/comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized  weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.
_______________
An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape) moved across Oregon and high pressure (“arch” shape) behind has cleared out the clouds and rain for today, but then back to wet as a low pressure trough and a frontal system will return the rain for Sunday. That means some more clouds on Saturday with skies partly cloudy. It looks like the rain will hold off until Saturday night. Another frontal system will move in early next week so it looks like the Spring rains will continue. Sorry, but you’ll need an umbrella or a coat to protect your Easter outfit for “Sunrise Services” and the rest of the day Easter Sunday. It might be a good idea to have Easter egg hunts indoors if possible.
