The upper airflow(look at the little arrows along the coast) is curving from the southwest bringing warmer more moist air into Oregon. It’s called the “Pineapple Express” because the airflow is actually coming from Hawaii.

SOUTH OREGON COAST.

For the Willamette Valley: There will be rain likely (60%) today and this evening then rain overnight high 50-53 low near 40. Mostly cloudy Friday rain likely (60%) in the AM and a slight (20%) chance in the afternoon high 50  lows near 40. Rain likely (60%) Saturday through Sunday night highs near 50 lows near 40. Mostly cloudy with chance of rain Monday and showers likely at night high mid 40s low in low 30s.  A chance of showers Tuesday through Wednesday highs near 42 low 26-29 .

For the Umpqua Basin: Mostly cloudy patchy fog and a (30%) chance rain today and rain  at night high in the low 50s low 43. Friday through Saturday night a good (50%) chance of rain highs in the low to  mid 40s to near 50 lows low to mid 40s. Rain will be likely (60%) Sunday, Monday, Monday night, and Tuesday lows near  40 highs in the mid to upper 40s. There will be a chance of showers Tuesday night and Wednesday low in low to mid 30s  high in low to mid 40s.

Mostly cloudy Friday through Saturday a (40-50%) chance of rain highs near 50 lows in the low 40s. Sunday rain likely i(60%) and rain at night high 53 low 42. Rain will be likely (60%) Monday through Tuesday with a (40%) chance of showers Tuesday night and Wednesday highs near 50 lows near 40.

For the Cascades of Lane County: AM rain likely,  chance of rain this afternoon snow level 6,000′ 1-2″ of snow . Rain likely (60%) this evening, rain overnight snow level 6,500′ 2-4″ of snow.AM rain then a chance of showers  Friday and Friday night snow level rising to 7,000′.  Rain likely Saturday through Monday still well above the passes. Monday night through Wednesday chance of rain and snow showers, snow level falling to below pass levels and staying there.
