Here is my weather quiz question for this week. This is your last chance this week to win. Who created the “F” scale to determine the strength of tornadoes? Please post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments/comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized  weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count. Good luck.
_______________
An upper air high pressure ridge (“arch” shape) has cleared out the clouds, but we’ll go back to wet as a low pressure trough approaches and a frontal system returns the rain for Sunday. That means some more clouds on Saturday with skies partly cloudy. It looks like the rain will hold off until Saturday night. Another frontal system will move in early next week so it looks like the Spring rains will continue. Sorry, but you’ll need an umbrella or a coat to protect your Easter outfit for “Sunrise Services” and the rest of the day Easter Sunday. It might be a good idea to have Easter egg hunts indoors if possible.

Advisories:  NONE AT THIS TIME. Watch out for local frost overnight tonight for the I-5 Corridor from Portland through the Eugene/Springfield area, and the upper Hood River valley.
