The upper airflow(look at the little arrows in the shaded area off the coast) is curving from the southwest continuing to bring warm moist air into Oregon. It’s called the “Pineapple Express” because the airflow is actually coming from Hawaii. Here’s the next frontal system to bring more rain. Another one will move in between Saturday and Sunday.

For the Central & Southern Willamette Valley: Mostly cloudy today with a  (40%) chance of showers this afternoon, light rain (60%) likely this evening and a (40%) chance at night high 50 low near 40. Rain likely (60%) Saturday high in the upper 40s. Rain will be likely Saturday night through Monday highs near 50 lows near 40. Mostly cloudy with showers likely Monday night low in the upper 30s. A good (50%) chance of showers Tuesday high 42-45. Partly cloudy Tuesday night through Thursday with decreasing chances of showers from 40% Tuesday night to 20% Thursday high mid 40s low in low 30s.

Patchy AM and late night fog with rain likely (60%) Saturday turning to showers in the afternoon and Saturday night high mid 50s low in low to mid 40s. Sunday, Sunday night, Monday, and Monday night mostly cloudy with rain highs near 50  lows in upper 30s to low 40s. Rain likely (60%) Tuesday  high 44-47. There will be a chance of showers Tuesday night and a slight (20-30%) Wednesday through Thursday low in mid to upper 30s  high in mid to upper 40s.
