An Atmospheric River‘s moisture is being funneled away from the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system impacting the Pacific Northwest today and this evening, then high pressure takes over. The graphics for days 3-7 Friday through Tuesday show no frontal activity for the Pacific Northwest during the period.

- A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING FOR THE COQUILLE RIVER AT COQUILLE AFFECTING THE SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON COAST ZONE.

- A PERMANENT HEALTH ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTH UMPQUA RIVER BAR. POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.

Hoodoo Ski: Will be Opened Wednesday through Saturday this week.
Mt. Ashland Ski: Will be Open Thursday February 26th.
