An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape) is moving away and a high pressure ridge (“arch” shape) has cleared us out again. A surface thermal though of low pressure (dashed line through California), caused by the daytime heating, will move inland bringing us some clouds. The temperatures will start to fall, but we’ll still have sunshine until late in the week then wet for the weekend when a new cold front moves in (position shown is Saturday).
