The upper airflow(look at the little arrows in the shaded area off the coast) is curving from the southwest continuing to bring warm moist air into Oregon. It’s called the “Pineapple Express” because the airflow is actually coming from Hawaii. Here’s the next frontal system to bring more rain and some cooler temperatures between Sunday and Monday .

For the Southern Willamette Valley: There is a slight (20%) chance of rain this evening, it will be likely late tonight through tomorrow night  low near 45. Rain Sunday and Sunday night high 50 low 45. Mostly cloudy with showers Monday and breezy high 49, rain likely (60%)  Monday night  and a cooler low 34-36. A (40%) chance of showers Tuesday then partly cloudy at night with a slight (20%) chance of showers high 44 low 34-36. AM fog then a mix of clouds and sun Wednesday, partly cloudy with a slight (20%) chance of showers at night  high 42-45 low 28-30. Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers Thursday through Christmas day highs in the mid to upper 40s lows near 30. There will be a good (50%) chance of rain Christmas night and Saturday low near 30 high 46.

For the Umpqua Basin including Roseburg: Rain late tonight and Sunday low near 45 high 49-52 . Showers Sunday night through Monday evening, rain and snow Monday night snow level 3,000′ falling to 2,500′ lows cooling from 44 to near 40 highs low 50s.  Rain and snow showers  (60%) likely  Tuesday  morning and a (40%) chance of afternoon showers high 42-44. There will be a slight (20%) chance of evening showers Tuesday night then patchy fog at night low in the low 30s. AM fog Wednesday and partly cloudy high 39-42. Partly cloudy a slight (20-%) chance of showers Wednesday night through Thursday night   highs 40-45 low in mid 30s. Mostly cloudy Christmas Day with a (20%) slight chance of showers and a good (50%) chance of  showers at night and Saturday high 43-45 low 37.

Partly cloudy with a slight (20%) chance of showers Wednesday night through Thursday night highs near 50 lows near 40. A slight (20%) chance of showers Christmas Day and at night high 52 low 42. Cloudy with rain likely Saturday high 47.
