_______________

An upper air trough of low pressure (“U” shape) is moving away and a high pressure ridge (“arch” shape) has cleared us out again. A surface thermal though of low pressure (dashed line that moved over the Pacific Northwest), caused by the daytime heating, brought us some clouds and just a few sprinkles. The temperatures will slowly fall, but we’ll still have sunshine, until late in the week into next weekend when a new cold front moves in (position shown is Saturday).
