The upper airflow (look at the little arrows in the shaded area off the coast) is curving from the southwest continuing to bring warm moist air into Oregon. It’s called the “Pineapple Express” because the airflow is actually coming from Hawaii. Here’s the next frontal system to bring more rain and some cooler temperatures between Sunday and Monday .

For the Southern Willamette Valley: Rain today and tonight high 50 low 45. Mostly cloudy with showers Monday and breezy high 49, showers likely (60%)  Monday night  and a cooler low 34-36. A (40%) chance of showers Tuesday then partly cloudy at night with a slight (20%) chance of showers high 44 low 34-36.
