An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) helps a frontal system push into and through the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system moving through Wednesday. The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show a stationary frontal system to the East of the Pacific Northwest attempting to push westward, but not having any success.
