An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape”)  well offshore to the Northwest with surface high pressure off the Northern California coast remove rain chances over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 shows no frontal systems  over the Pacific Northwest.  The graphics for days 3-7  Tuesday through Saturday show the cold frontal system pushing through the Pacific Northwest between Thursday and Friday.
