An  Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape”) continues bringing serious heating into the Pacific Northwest. We could break some record highs. The graphics for days 1-3 show a no frontal systems moving into the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7  Tuesday through Saturday show a frontal system pushing through the Pacific Northwest between Tuesday night and Wednesday.

POOLS IN THE BEDROCK ALONG THE RIVERS EDGE ARE KNOWN TO DEVELOP BLUE-GREEN ALGAE (CYANOBACTERIAL) BLOOMS THAT CAN BE HARMFUL TO PETS AND PEOPLE IF ACCIDENTAL INGESTION OCCURS. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE  RIVER.

Willamette Pass Ski: IT’S NOT OFFICIAL, BUT DUE TO THE LATENESS OF THE SEASON AND THE MILD WEATHER TREND THERE IS VIRTUALLY NO CHANCE OF GETTING ENOUGH SNOWFALL TO ALLOW OPENING FOR SKIING. CONSIDER IT CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
