An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge  in the Southwest combines with surface High Pressure moving northward along the coast will switch us to onshore airflow which will slowly cool us and clear out the wildfire smoke in the Willamette Valley. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system pushing through Oregon Sunday. The graphics for days 3-7  Tuesday through Saturday show a cold frontal system pushing through the Pacific Northwest Sunday.
