The National Weather Service has designated next week as “Safe Boating Week.” Take this link to see the seven days of boat safety information that begins with this upcoming Saturday.

_______________

A strong upper level area of  low pressure (oval shape moving across Oregon) has sent moisture to the Pacific Northwest. A cold front moved through California sending some showers our way, but now it’s pushing well away from the area. There will be plenty of sunshine, due to a short lived high pressure area,  for your  Thursday with increasing clouds Friday. Another frontal system will be upon us by late Friday, followed by yet another frontal system early next week. It will be mostly dry Wednesday through Friday, but better chances of getting wet for the weekend. Today was the 31st anniversary of the big eruption of Mt. St. Helens up in Washington.
