The National Weather Service has designated the upcoming week as “Safe Boating Week.” Take this link to see the seven days of boat safety information that continue through Friday.

_______________

Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore) will slide along the coast from the Gulf of Alaska and move across Oregon. A frontal system will move through the state increasing the chance for precipitation. There will be a short break on Tuesday, but it will cloud up again as this frontal system due in Wednesday will be bringing better chances for rain. If you are like me, you might be looking for a dry 24-hour dry period to lay down the weed-n-feed on the lawn. It’s tough when there will be at least a slight chance of precipitation just about every day but Tuesday and that still doesn’t leave 24 hours of guaranteed dry weather. Oh well, that’s what happens here in Western Oregon.
