Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore) is sliding slowly toward Oregon. Weak high pressure  will give us the clearing Memorial Day that we expected on Sunday. There will still be sun breaks on the rainy days. A new frontal system will push through the Pacific Northwest early in the week (position shown is Wednesday) increasing the precipitation chances once again and the wet weather will continue through most of next week. Still cooler than normal. Summer is getting closer every day, but we haven’t found the formula to turn the weather around to even average temperatures. Then we ask “Where is the sunshine?” It seems to be somewhere else.
