_______________

Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore) is sliding slowly toward Oregon. Weak high pressure should have given us the clearing for the Memorial Day holiday, but the sunshine periods didn’t last long. There will still be some sun breaks even on the rainy days ahead. A new frontal system will push through the Pacific Northwest early in the week (position shown is Wednesday) increasing the precipitation chances once again and the wet weather will continue through most of next week. Still cooler than normal. Summer is getting closer every day, but we haven’t found the formula to turn the weather around to even average temperatures. Then we ask “Where is the sunshine?” It seems to be somewhere else.
