_______________

Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore) is sliding slowly toward Oregon. Weak high pressure should have given us the clearing for the Memorial Day Holiday but the periods of sunshine were sparse.  A new frontal system will push through the Pacific Northwest this week (position shown is Thursday) increasing the precipitation chances once again and the wet weather will continue through most of the week. There will still be some sun breaks even on the rainy days ahead. Still cooler than normal. Summer is getting closer every day, but we haven’t found the formula to turn the weather around to even average temperatures.
