The Atlantic-Caribbean tropical storm season has begun. For updates on where tropical storms or hurricanes are headed just go to The National Weather Service Hurricane Center website.

_______________

Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore) is sliding slowly into Oregon keeping the flow of moisture aimed at us. The wet weather will continue through the rest of the week. There will still be some sun breaks even on the rainy days ahead. Still cooler than normal, but the computer models show we’ll dry out, really warm up,  and see increased sunshine over the weekend. It’s still too early to be certain of that yet, but the weather looks fine for the main events of the Prefontaine Classic Saturday. A frontal system will pass South of us Sunday and should bring us only some more clouds. The shower chances will return sometime Monday.
