_______________
Upper level low pressure (“U” shape offshore) is sliding to the South and will move Eastward changing our airflow from Westerly to Easterly sending warmer dry air at us from the East and Southeast. A frontal system is passing South of us, but not as far to the South as I expected. Thats why the clouds moved in this afternoon and they capped off the high temperature for the Eugene-Springfield area today to slightly lower levels than predicted, but still much warmer than normal. Next week we will return to well below normal temperatures and precipitation. One frontal system will move in Tuesday cooling temperatures and bringing showers, then yet another frontal system slides in Friday.
